Rob Theriault is a Professor of Paramedicine at Georgian College in Ontario. He is an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), former Critical Care Flight Paramedic and has been in the industry over 35 years. Rob has a bachelor of health science in paramedicine from Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia and a Master of Educational Technology (M.E.T.) from the University of British Columbia in BC, Canada. He is a published author, researcher and international speaker. Rob is currently exploring Extended Reality (virtual, augmented and mixed reality) in patient simulation, teaching empathy and social VR for synchronous online learning.
