Anthony Scavarelli


School of Media & Design, Algonquin College

Anthony is a Professor in Algonquin College’s School of Media and Design, and a Ph.D. student at Carleton University exploring VR to enhance social learning spaces. Anthony also serves as a board member for the Ottawa technology arts organization, Artengine, and is a participatory artist that creates socio-interactive technology to engage communities via installations, presentations, and workshops. Previous works include installations for Electric Fields, the City of Ottawa, Invest Ottawa, Nuit Blanche Ottawa, the Ottawa International Children’s Festival, and the Cinekid Children’s Festival in Amsterdam
