Learn how to bring motors into your classroom for FREE using electronics that are easily salvaged.
Most teachers are not comfortable with electronics, in particular with motors, principally due to lack of knowledge, experience or funds.
Without realizing it, they are depriving their classes of all the experience, fun and excitement imaginable with electronics & motors!
In this workshop, Michael Chan hopes to change that. He will guide participants through practical examples of how to salvage free motors from old PCs and electronics. Then participants will brainstorm interesting ideas and examples of applications for these motors in systems like: railway gates, car parking, catapults, robotic arms, copters, plotters, padlock decoders and more.
