Diagrams for Game Designers

Communication is essential for sharing, evaluating and iterating designs. Diagrams are an important tool for sharing our ideas non-linguistically. Using precedents and examples derived from Architecture processes, the role of the diagram will be discussed in representing and sharing our ideas without the need for words. Structured lists, Visual Hierarchies, Partis, Bubble Diagrams, Flow Charts and Maps will all be discussed. During the presentation a sample level will be constructed and analyzed through the diagram language discussed.
