Taiga Robotics is dedicated to improving human-machine interfaces since we believe the future begins with giving humans the speed, precision, and strength of machines.
Taiga has developed IRIS, an interface which makes remote control any articulate machine (i.e. a robotic arm) easy and intuitive while requiring almost no training; we call the technology telereality. It places the mind of the operator into the remote body of the machine using a virtual reality interface. Coupled with a motion/haptic controller, the machine “feels” like a natural extension of the operator’s body.
Dmitri Ignakov is a founder at Taiga Robotics, where he is dedicated to revolutionizing the way we interact with machines. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, and has substantial theoretical and practical expertise in robotics, computer vision, and optimization.
