Since 2011, Digifest has been bringing together a dynamic audience of creative professionals from across the country. Attendees are leading voices from the creative industries including graphic designers, web and interactive designers, art directors, studio managers as well as faculty and students from advertising, technology, business, retail, education, and government. Organized annually by the Digital Media and Gaming Incubator at George Brown College, Digifest is made possible with our advisory committee, our generous sponsors, and volunteers.
Each year, Digifest introduces a new and exciting theme that correlates with changes and development in the current technological environment. This year’s theme, Hello Tomorrow: Our Creative Cities is about improving our quality of life and making creative cities of the future better through design, innovation, and technology.
We are excited for Digifest 2018 as it is an opportunity for attendees to discover the latest exclusive tech perspectives and digital content, to participate in open discussions, interact with emerging technology, and network with other professionals in the industry.
Digifest was one of the best field trips that I have ever been on. I loved this insider look on technology that most people don’t get the opportunity to see. The talks were very interesting, and I especially liked the pleasure
IT’S A START has done an amazing job assembling a diverse line-up of talent to compete at this year’s pitch competition. As the 2017 IT’S A START second place winner, I was extremely humbled to be invited to attend the Overseas Talent Entrepreneurship Conference in Beijing. I learned many valuable lessons from experienced entrepreneurs overseas, and witness their astrological rate of growth. This became an enormous motivation factor for us to work significantly harder. I encourage all entrepreneurs to enter next year’s IT’S A START pitch competition. It is an opportunity not to be missed!Luna Yu (IT'S A START)
You and your team are amazing! Your support and response to our faculty and students needs are prompt and great. For the students, Chris and Zach, they are ecstatic and inspired. They actually appreciate why we push their skills so hard. The satisfaction and joy unbelievable. They have collected a lot of contacts from institutions and industries. For us as faculty, it validates our beliefs, our philosophy to keep on inspiring students to aim high and work hard. Everything pays off. On behalf of our students, our faculty and Durham College, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you and see you next year.Linda Cheng (Student Showcase)
