Nuket Nowlan is a research assistant at Carleton University  studying in developing remote learning opportunities in 3D immersive environments.  Nuket has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Boğaziçi Üniversitesi (Turkey) and is completing a Master of Engineering in Technology Innovation Management (TIM) at Carleton University (Canada).  Ms Nowlan is an experienced project manager and has overseen  immersive virtual world research projects within these research including Tipontia (Ronald McDonald House, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario), Persephone (Algonquin College, Ottawa, Ontario) and Carleton Virtual (Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario).
