On behalf of the Ministry of Research and Innovation, I am pleased to express my support for the Digifest conference in Toronto from October 26 – 30, 2011. This conference brings together and celebrates the extensive talent we have in Ontario’s digital media sector.
The creative cluster is one of the fastest growing sectors of Ontario’s economy, and digital media and information communications technologies are areas of focus in Ontario’s Innovation Agenda.
At a time when competition for global talent and investment is fierce, we need to work together to put innovation at the centre of everything we do. Digifest provides an environment for collaboration that is helping Ontario become a global leader in this area.
